Best Burgers in Fort Myers - Square 1

Even though Square 1 Burgers is a chain, they're a welcome addition to Fort Myers.

I usually get the Bleu Bacon burger which has applewood-smoked bacon, blue cheese crumbles, curly leaf lettuce, red onion and tomato on a whole-wheat bun.

One of the reasons why I like getting my burgers at Square 1 has nothing to do with the burgers themselves; it's all about the sides. If you want sweet potato fries, baked beans, or even broccoli with your burger, this is the place to get something other than fries (but the standard fries are good too).

Square 1's interior decoration is a strange hodge-podge of various different kinds of styles. Most of them have a kinda modern Texas farm house feel to them. With the seats being a mix of cow hide pattern, red cloth, and dark wooden chairs, there doesn't feel like any kind of inherent logic to the table seating other than the booths seem to be situated by the windows.

If you're looking for a restaurant atmosphere that's not as crowded or as noisy as Ford's Garage downtown, this is a good alternative since the tables are decently spaced out from each other and even though it has a polished concrete floor, the sound doesn't carry too much.
